If you want to find a warm pleasant place in Europe then go to Spain! Spain has many monuments, famous people, and artifacts.Spain also has the Atlantic Ocean and other small neighboring islands. You could go on a cruise and go to the beach!

                         Geography

Spain contains some minor rugged mountains in the northern and eastern parts of Spain. There are not many large ,dense rivers but few like the Minho River that separates northern Portugal and Spain.

There are also the Tagus, Ebro, Duerno, and Guadiana Rivers.

There are also many islands like the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

Climate 

Most of Spain has a mild Mediterranean Climate which means that there are warm summers and mild winters. In the south there is a semiarid climate which has a bit stronger summers than a Mediterranean climate.

Language

The official language of Spain is Spanish but it is not exactly the same as from Mexico's

The Spanish say words sometimes with a -th at the end and also speak faster than the Mexico's

These are other recognised languages but less used: Basque, Catalan, Galician, and Occitan

Tourism

There is one thing that you need to know is that Spain is the second largest moneymaker in tourism. Spain earns about 40 BILLION euros or 64 BILLION dollars which is a huge amount. The reason is that Spain has many famous monuments, artifacts, and people. Spain has been famous for their art, architecture,cinema, Sports(especially soccer), and cuisine. 

                          

    

Art

Spain has influenced many other countries for their amazing art. Most art was influenced from the Roman Catholic Church. Like the Disrobing of Jesus when he was being put onto the cross. The Pieta is when Jesus was put down from the cross and put in Mary's lap.

Architecture

The Spanish focus on building Cathedrals for the Roman Catholic and Christian religions

Spain has hundreds of the largest cathedrals in the world. They are the most famous in the world like Italy's.

Cinema

The Spanish has had a long history of having great cinema. They widely famous around the world for their productions. There are many directors that have achieved an international level like Luis Bunuel, Florian Rey, Carlos Saura, and Julio Medem.

Sports

Spain has dominated in soccer since the 1900's and in 2010 they won the World Cup for the first time ever.

There two most successful teams in soccer are C.F.Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Spain also does Tennis, Basketball, cycling, and handball. Spain is not that well in Basketball nut is well in Tennis and cycling. Rafeal Nadal is famous for winning The Wimbeldon in 2010 and other Tennis Championships and Alberto Contador is a Spanish cyclist who has won 3 Tour de France titles and other Grand Tours. 

 Camp Nou is Barcelona's stadium and largest stadium in Europe.

Cuisine

Spain's Cuisine consists a great variety of dishes from cultures and climate. Spain is heavily influenced by seafood. Their food had many cultural influences that has led to a unique cuisine.
