"Czech" out the Czech Republic. Why? Because it's super cool! You can go to 32 different spa towns, ski on avalanche and alpine slopes, hike in the many forests, and a whole lot more.
First of all, haven't you ever heard of a spa town? I hadn't either, until I started researching for this blog. A spa town, is pretty much what it sounds like...a town dedicated to providing spa treatments to it's guests.
Avid skier? Check out one of the approximately 40 ski resorts.
How about a trip to the Prague Zoo? The Prague zoo gets over half a million visitors per year. It specializes in the breeding of animal species that are endangered.
You could take a visit to Old Town Square and see the Astronomical Clock, which features the "Walk of the Apostles".
The Czech Republic is home to many Churches, and Monasteries. The country is predominantly Catholic, so there are some amazing stained-glass masterpieces.
Prague is home to some fantastic and kooky architecture. One of the buildings called "The Dancing House" is pictured below. It it different than a lot of buildings in the Czech Republic due to it's modern style.
Zeiny Trh (Vegetable Market) is called the square in the center of Brno. Since the 13th century it has served as a market to the residents. In the middle of the square is the fountain Parnas, built in the 17th century.
Another "can't miss" on your travels through the Czech Republic is Golden Lane in Prague. The Golden Lane gets its name from the goldsmiths who went to live there in the 17th century. This short street is packed with tiny houses built for the 24 members of the guard of the castle in the 16th century. Today they host some pretty cool souvenir shops!
In conclusion, there are many incredible places to visit in the Czech Republic! You should definitely "Czech" it out!
